FAQMICROBLADING/MICROSHADING
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent technique for enhancing the appearance of the eyebrows, in which pigment is gently etched into the skin in fine, short strokes resembling hair, using a hand tool with a blade formed of tiny needles, giving an incredibly natural and reaslistic look.
What is the duration of the session?
For the first Microblading session, the procedure takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours.
Is the touch up session necessary?
Yes, a touch up session is required after 4 – 6 weeks of a Microblading procedure as everyone heals differently. It should never be done earlier than 4 weeks to prevent scar damage as the tissue requires time to completely heal.
What is Microshading?
Microshading is a softer, gentler version of Microblading for sparse, light-colored or over-plucked brows. The end result is very natural, but unlike with microblading where a blade is used to create natural hair strokes, there are no strokes in this technique. It imparts more of a powdery look with small dots done with a single needle attached to a semi-permanent tattoo device.
What is the duration of the session?
For Microshading, the procedure takes about 2 and half hours or more.
How long does it take to heal?
No down time is certain after a Microblading/Microshading procedure. It usually takes about 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about a month for the colour to fully set in.
Is the procedure painful?
The pain level for a Microblading/Microshading procedure is usually considered mild to none. However, a topical anaesthetic is applied to numb the area before and during the procedure.
How long does it last?
Microblading/Microshading typically lasts 18 – 24 months, depending on individual skin type and skincare routine.
Do you do trainings?
